Melody is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student Intern at Lamar University, who will be under Site Supervisor Lauren Cogswell from Lamar University and Supervised by Elisha Lambert, MS, LPC-S, RPT-S, ICST. As an East Texas native, she enjoys working with children and adolescents. She received her bachelors in Sociology at the University of North Texas in Denton, her MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Texas at Tyler and AAS in Occupational Therapy Assistant at Weatherford College in Mineral Wells. She has over 10 years’ experience in education which includes teaching high school and higher education as well academic advising. Her background has provided the opportunity to work with children/adolescents/teens and adults and those who are learning how to work with symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD/C-PTSD, substance abuse, DID, BPD, and complex trauma. Melody is supervised by Elisha Lambert, MS, LPC-S, RPT-S, ICST.
